1. Measure your waist and hip size before choosing a diaper. You want to make sure that the diaper fits snugly but not too tightly around your body. A diaper that is too small can cause discomfort, leaks, or skin irritation. A diaper that is too big can sag, bunch up, or slip off. 2. Fold the diaper properly before putting it on. If you are using a tab-style diaper, gently fold it lengthwise with the back sheet facing outwards. Do not touch the inside of the diaper to avoid contamination.
